Reviews

"Long ago when European royals grew bored with palace balls, they took a page from the peons and added some pageantry. Couture and canape are just another Saturday night, until you add a mask. But, preparing for a ball is an event itself, which is why queens invented handmaidens'." It's that time of year for a Masquerade party! Get ready to hide yourself under a mask and seek the drama yourself. Who knew you know who's who when they're under a mask that hides their identity. So what's so scary than not knowing who is really under the mask than someone from your past returning...

Ring, ring, ring! Guess who's calling from Dan's past? It's VANESSA! Now for those who didn't read the books (which by the way is awesome!), they used to be in love with one another. But ouch! Dan already lying to Serena right from the start of their relationship? Not such a good idea Dan Humphrey. Vanessa's company is great, don't get me wrong, but I just hope it doesn't affect Dan and Serena's relationship because my God is this couple is adorable! Although it already seems so, but I think they'll be okay in the later future, hopefully...

Congratulations to Nate's storyline being more interesting by each episode! I'm still not quite of a fan of his storyline, but the whole thing with his father screwing up his own life couldn't be more interesting! Find coke and later blaming on his son?! Well he got an award for worst father ever! Oh, and mentioning about Nate, still in love with Serena? I think everyone still knew that, even if fans are possibly hardcore Nate and Blair fans. The whole visit I must say was not necessary for sure. I mean why talk to Serena when he can talk to anyone else, like Chuck, when he was actually there.

I applause for Jenny's little sweet revenge on Chuck. I must say, thank you for having him stripping off, but gosh they're chemistry was enjoyable! Got to love their little "oh yeah" moments!

Alongside, Rufus and Lily won the award for best adult relationship on TV, ever! Their chemistry with one another is undeniable and their kiss was hot. But it sucked that Rufus possibly let his feelings out when Lily runs to Bart's arms. I love his son, but not him. Poor Rufus; he needs a big hug. Oh, did I mention how hot Rufus is for a father?

So what's in next for Gossip Girl? Is Dan and Serena finally going to "make love" after they basically poured their hearts out with one another? Is Nate going to face his own father's mistakes and consequences? Will Chuck re-revenge Jenny for what she did? Will Jenny pay the consequences for going to the Masquerade party without Blair's consent? Everything just has to wait... "You Know You Love Me, XOXO, Gossip Girl."
