Reviews

This is the time of year where you can eat whatever you want and don't worry about the weight you'll be gaining. All its about is the food and the family and friends around the table. That's right, it's Thanksgiving. But honestly, who knew there would be drama during Thanksgiving? This episode, we got to see what Thanksgiving was like one year ago. Believe me, there is quite some changes, good ones that is.

Flashbacks and I love each other! I enjoyed each and every flashback in this episode. But who knew Drunk Serena was much more enjoyable to watch than the Normal Serena we see every week. I love to analyze the changes from the characters. I'm glad to have seen Serena how she was before she went out with Dan, etc. Maybe leaving town was best for Serena. The bond between Nate, Serena, and Blair is just more than just great! It's awesome! Poor Danny boy being invisible like he was before Serena finally noticed him. I don't know what I would prefer, the past or present. Now that definitely has some pros and cons!

Oh my goodness! Finally Bulimia Blair comes out of the closet! I was dying to see that happening. I thought that was an awesome storyline in the books, and I hoped to have seen it in The Pilot, coming from the first book of the series, but no hope. So thank you Josh for putting up that storyline on the show! It made my day! Probably sounds mean of me, but I just really liked that storyline for Blair. Poor Blair and her daddy issues, but I'm glad Eleanor Waldorf cleared everything up for Blair.

Thanksgiving dinner with the Humphreys' and the van der Woodsens' is quite a dish to eat! I'm on Team Lily, by the way. But thank God that the parents' told their kids about their whole past situation. I don't find it quite a big deal, but I guess I have to walk in their shoes to find out. But it sucks that Alison basically made Rufus not see Lily again when clearly Rufus still has feelings for her. I hope Alison goes back to where she was before and have Rufus and Lily make love already!

Poor Nate when his father was at the hospital. Oh, and no Chuck again? What is Josh doing to me?!

So is everything going to be quite perfect from now on? Will Rufus really make that promise that he won't have any contact with Lily ever again, since Alison is back? Is Dan and Serena's relationship be affected due to their parent's past? I guess we just have to find out in the next episode. "You Know You Love Me, XOXO, Gossip Girl."
